A bit unusual. It started with an owl pellet, disected to find the jaw of a Pocket Gopher. That jawbone has been electroformed in solid copper and given a rustic patina with hints of green/aqua hiding in the recesses.

A bit unusual. It started with an owl pellet, disected to find the jaw of a Pocket Gopher. That jawbone has been electroformed in solid copper and given a rustic patina with hints of green/aqua hiding in the recesses.
I topped this remnant with a handmade ceramic bead by Minnesota artist Jill Stoffregren aka FoxPaws (more of her beads are scattered throughout the piece) and a natural double terminated Quartz bead, then wrapped it all in solid copper wire.
The necklace measures 20″ and closes with a handmade copper hook that can be linked anywhere along the chain, making this piece adjustable. Along the length is a scattered assortment of natural greenish blue Aquamarine nuggets, rustic Czech glass, and more of Jill’s amazing handmade ceramic beads.
Coordinating earrings included.
