Sweet As A Peach

You know it’s coming. That day. Valentine’s Day. So, as every other jewelry creator on the planet is doing, so am I. This is my first offering for V Day 2009.
It started when I fell in love with the handmade hearts from ExpeditionD aka Lynn Davis. Her polymer clay creations are lovingly made to look like something ancient and loved. This heart called to me. This heart called to me? Yes, it did.
The color is a lovely shade of peachy pink with ivory undertones and a lovely flourish/swirl. When it arrived here in my hot little hands I was so happy! It immediately brought to mind all things delicate, lacy, and feminine. Lingerie. I NEVER think of lingerie. I don’t even OWN lingerie. But I can see this beauty with some great French silk lingerie with black lace details. Hmmm…do any husbands or SO’s read this blog? If so, there’s your V Day all wrapped up. You’re welcome.
The pink beads are Rhodonite and the other stones are Smokey Quartz. Simple yet elegant and oh so feminine! Available in my Art Fire shop along with a few other V Day goodies.
