Vintage Remix – Nouveau Style

Vintage Remix

Just a quick shot of a necklace I wanted to share with you all.

Remember me mentioning that Mom and I went out to the antique stores for my birthday in November? Well, while I was out I found this great long wrapped link chain, with glass beads that are the color of Carnelian, from the 1920′s. Then I found a brass chain necklace with some great orange glass beads capped in brass filigree and accented with brass filigree beads. The lady at the antique store said that one was from the early 1930′s. I thought the two of them would go together nicely, so I snagged them up!

A couple days later, I ventured out to a bead store in Cupertino and they had these lovely vintage Japanese glass drops in all sorts of great colors. I deiced to grab some of the opaque turquoise and some really unusual milky green colored drops. They worked wonderfully with the piece!

It wasn’t until after I put the piece together that I noticed the colors were the same as a painting by Alphonse Mucha that I had been looking at the previous week.

I’ll get this beauty listed in my Artfire Shop soon!

In the mean time, I hope you all have a happy and healthy holiday season! Stay warm and have fun!

Blessings.
Peace.
Joy
