It’s that time of the year…

The Holidays are upon us in full force now. Things here have been super busy. Thanksgiving came and went, then the next day was kiddo’s 11th birthday. What a whirlwind! Since then, I’ve been up to my eyeballs in beads. Ashley and I have a trunk show coming up on the 15th for all of those last minute shoppers.

I’ve been a busy little bee making things for the show. No photos yet, right now I’m focusing on making. Sunday is picture day and I’ll be sharing some goodies then. I’m still on a bit of an earring kick. I’m amazed it’s lasted this long. Normally I’m not a big fan of making them, since I don’t wear them I have a hard time creating them. But, for some reason I’m enjoying it at the moment….so I figured i should take advantage of that while it lasts. Soon, the next creative wave will hit me and I’ll be off on a different tangent making who knows what.

I’m still finding it hard to really get in to the Holiday Spirit. I’ve been in California for 9 years now but it still seems strange to not have a real Winter season here. It does get chilly, we’re supposed to be close to freezing tonight, but it’s mild during the day. Not quite Holiday for me. I’d at least like some slush or ice to make things really feel like Winter. But no, instead we have 60 and fog. I guess, after a while, I’ll get used to it and that will be my Winter Wonderland. So for now….I’ll just take the fog and be happy that I’m not freezing my tookus off in layers of flannel.

I hope you’re all staying warm!
