I made this piece at the insistence of my son. When he saw the brass wheel he immediately said, “Mom, that’s a dream catcher, you need to make a necklace with it.” I call him my Artistic Consultant, he has directed me on many projects, and I always take his input seriously!
A wire wheel, in an antique brass color, acts as the web to catch all of the bad dreams you may struggle with, and allows the good dreams to pass through. Hanging below, a collection of dream enhancing collection of stones, all wrapped securely on brass wire. A polished Quartz point, Andean opal, Garnets, a tiny Labradorite roundel, and a tiny Iolite roundel. A Mother of Pearl star for you to wish upon is accented with a hand wrapped spiral, to remind you of the energy swirling around us all. Also in the mix, a small tumbled pebble from the shores of Lake Coeur D’ Alene and skillfully drilled by Etsy’s own Stonestudios.
This light and eclectic pendant hangs from a double strand of glistening seed beads in tones of brass, bronze, and plum. Scattered on the strands, a mix of Garnet beads in round and oval shapes.
This necklace is light and lovely, and wears beautifully with a variety of styles. It’s finished off with a brass toggle clasp and measures 22″ with the pendant hanging an additional 4″ below that.
The stones used in this piece were all carefully chosen for their traditional use as dream facilitating stones. Relax, take a deep breath, and dream on!
Did you know all of my creations are strictly one of a kind? Another one will never be created by me. I pour my heart and soul in to each creation, giving it all of my attention and energy until I feel that it is finished, and I can be sure that it is created for one special person out there.
