Grow Necklace – Copper With Glass and Paper

Another experiment for me. I managed to get a big sheet of copper for my birthday that I will spend the next year cutting pendants and other goodies from.
First time out? A piece the size of a domino, covered with a piece of paper. I stamped the word GROW on it, put a flower sticker in the corner, then doodled a vine. I painted the vine with Twinkling H20s, then washed the whole thing with a pale gold. I sealed it with a heavy gloss gel medium, the built the necklace around it!
Czech glass leaves and Serpentine pulled it all together! I like the brightness of this piece, and I think it will be exactly what someone needs when they have a case of the Winter Blahs!
