An experiment…

I’ve got a good friend, her name is Draven, and she makes incredible prayer beads. She’s been making them for several years now, so, make sure you go check out her Etsy Shop to see what she has to offer.

Here’s my experiment in prayer beads. I used Peacock Blue Apatite, Labradorite, and Copper. The copper beads on the set are solid copper, the Goddess is lead free pewter with a thick layer of copper over it.

Why Apatite? Apatite is said to help one reach a deep state of meditation and peacefulness. It is also said to help enhance creativity, which makes it a perfect stone for an artist. It can also help clear confusion and reduce irritability. Sounds good so far!

Why Labradorite? labradorite happens to be my favorite stone. It has been used to help reduce stress, ground the spirit and cleanse the aura. It also reminds up to look beneath the surface to see what truly lies beneath. It also tell us to trust our intuition and keep an open mind to learning new things.

I combined these stone with copper which has been used in jewelry for centuries. It helps keep energy flowing and has an energizing influence on the body. It has also been used to increase desire and sexuality and helps one remove the obstacles in their life.

There is one large copper bead for each of the four cardinal directions and one Labradorite bead for each of the five elements. Between that, are three Apatite beads, symbolizing the past, present, and future. Between each bead is a solid copper bead, to keep the energy flowing through the piece.

I’ll have these listed in the shop soon!

You are just so awesome. These put the prayer beads I saw in Turkey to shame. Plus that added Goddess pendent is just awesome. XOXO
