But Halloween will be here long before you think. Inspiration hit today, and a necklace for Gramma Deena in Ohio was born. She has a black cat named Mac (aka Hissy Pissy) who is the classic Halloween cat. I saw these rub ons at Michaels the other day, and decided to try putting one on a shell pendant. It didn’t rub on quite as nicely as I would have liked, so I painted over it with acrylic paints, then sealed it.
All the beads on this piece are glass, and the wire work is dark annealed steel, to keep with the dark theme. :) The top of the pendant features a lamp work bead from Ingrid Hein at Artwearable.com.
I hope Gramma Deena likes it!
