Hello fellow Farmgirls and Goddesses! I know I’m new to this thing, and most of you have no idea who I am, but many of you know one of my dearest friends, KnitSteph. She’s a great gal and is responsible for me finding my inner Farmgirl, among other things. :)

Currently, she’s studying to become a teacher. Which, in my humble opinion, is one of the MOST important jobs on the planet. Knowing her as long as I’ve known her (7 years) I am certain that she will be one of the best teachers we have. She’s finished with her classes, and has student teaching to complete this fall, then graduation in December.

A laptop is crucial to her success as a student and as a teacher. It’s an important tool for organizing lesson plans and all of the other activities that will be used in the classroom. She’s using a loaner computer from her mom that is old, slow, and only on loan. She will have to return it.

So, let’s get together and help get her the funds for a new zippy laptop that can handle the teaching load and last a long time!
