It’s been a bit quiet here. This past week came and went before I even knew it. This weekend was spent running my friend Ashley’s shop for her while she was set up with a booth at a local festival. Saturday was pretty mellow, today was pretty busy all day. This was the first time in a very long time that I’ve been up on my feet for more than an hour.

I’m beat. It was pretty warm today as well. The shop doesn’t have AC and this was a freakishly warm weekend for that area. Lucky me, eh? I managed though. I brought two fans from home and that helped a lot. I think I may be ramping up for a flare of my Rheumatoid Arthritis from being hot and on my feet fro so many hours. But, now that I know what to look for, I’ll be able to take care of it before it gets bad.

All in all, I had a good time. I was happy I could help her out and it was nice to just get out of the house for a few hours.

I’ve got some new pieces in the works for this week. I think I’ll let myself take Monday “off” then get to work posting things in the shop!
