Kiddo and hubby both had a week off in February, so we took advantage of that to do a day trip over to Yosemite. It was a beautiful day there, big white billowing clouds that had once dumped rain were giving way to a beautiful blue sky with wisps of fog blowing around. There was a thick layer of snow, maybe 2′, yet the temperature was in the low to mid 50′s. That is how I like to do snow!
Here’s a shot of kiddo and I from the trip…on the side of the road.
On the way in to Yosemite Valley there is some road construction that requires you to wait about 25-30 minutes, stopped on the road next to the Merced River. It was the most beautiful place to have to sit in “traffic”!
