Simplify…

This is my word for the year 2008. Simplify.
I want to apply this to every aspect of my life, including my jewelry designs. While I will still create my eclectic wearable art pieces, I also want to start making some more simplified designs. Pieces that are more “wearable” on a day to day basis. Pieces that really focus on the bead(s) that they’re constructed with.
Simplify.
I started the year with a “reset” on my bead table. All of the unfinished projects were scrapped, and put back into the supply mix. Every one of my bead trays is now empty, and ready for new creations.
Another goal, with this new simplified idea in mind, is to be able to get more things in to the shop on a semi regular basis. Simplicity also requires focus, and focus requires work.
Now that my knee is healing well, it is time to get back to work on losing weight as well. Starting today I’m back on the Weight Watchers Points plan, tracking my food intake every day. Hubby and I started this two years ago. He has lost 90lbs and looks great! I lost 30lbs, then the knee issue started up again, and, well, the focus was gone. So, once again I will try.
Let the games begin!
