It’s been a bit quiet…

Around here this week. I’m recuperating from a cold this week. Designs are percolating in my head at the moment…for Winter. I did get a bead delivery a couple of days ago that consists of two dozen strands of cultured pearls in a variety of shapes and colors. I’m on a pearl kick, and I have no idea why.
Oh well.
In other news. Kiddo, mom and myself headed to the local pumpkin patch today to pick out pieces for carving and decorating for Halloween. I picked out a groovy blue (grey-ish) pumpkin to do some carving on. I’ll have to snap a picture of it. It’s a really neat color, kind of grey kind of blue. When you scratch the surface of it, it’s bright orange. It’ll be neat for carving. Kiddo picked out a few little pumpkins and one large tall pumpkin for a jack-o-lantern.
The sky was a lovely blue, with wispy pink clouds as the sun was setting this evening. Made for some fun Photo Shop material. The farm is known for its massive fields of marigolds and pumpkins, and it certainly delivered! I have to process a bunch of images, so you’ll have to get those tomorrow.
I’m sleepy…and rambling…time for bed.
Blessings.
Peace.
