Eight years ago…

We took this picture on the shores of Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe to be exact, about 40 minutes after we were married. The night before was spent driving there, and finding a hotel for the night. The next day, we went to the courthouse, filled out some papers, and the judge married us in his office. Short, sweet, and simple. We were downright giddy.
Most little girls have their dreams of what they want their wedding to be like. Not once did I do that. Not once did I even imagine myself getting married….till I met this wonderful man.
Now it’s been eight years, and I am still giddy.
I love this man.
