That purple is my favorite color? It is. I hoard purple beads. They’re not always easy to find, especially in a nice deep purple color. I put this piece together last night, while watching some episodes of Taboo on the NG channel.

It’s a simple piece, hags from a rich purple satin cord. I liked the way the copper and purple look together! I normally use sterling silver with purple…but I figured I’d try something new this time.

There are a couple of pearls on this piece. One is a nice fat teardrop and the other is a luminescent rectangle. I found the drops at the One Stop Bead Shop in Columbus, Ohio. I had never seen them before, and it was the last strand they had, so I snagged them! They’re all so smooth and round, and the color…ahhhh…I love it!

Now, about that shop. I was so excited to see that there’s something other than Byzantium in Columbus, Ohio now! At the One Stop Bead Shop I was happy to find a wonderful selection of Czech glass (one HUGE wall full!), gemstones, seed beads, art beads, findings….everything you could need! It truly is a one stop shop. On top of that, the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Their prices are very fair, some are even downright cheap! But don’t let the price fool ya, everything in here is top notch.

Now, another great thing about this shop, you can bead there! They have a couple of tables with trays and tools for you to use on a project that juts can’t wait till you get home. OR, you can bring your goodies in and bead bead bead. They have bead nights, classes, and you can even have parties there.

LOVE IT! If I had my own bead shop, it would be a lot like this place. They don’t have online shopping, yet, so you’ll just have to wait, or go see for yourself!
