Lazy Summer is in full swing at the Goddess House. Where shall we start? Kiddo news!

Kiddo has been doing day camp at the YMCA all week (his first time ever) courtesy of his Dad in Ohio. He goes at 6:30am and I pick him up around 6pm. They do all kinds of fun stuff, today is Wheels Day. All the kids brink their bikes, skateboards and scooters, as well as safety gear, and have fun on the school playground! His first day was Monday, and boy oh boy, when he came home he was exhausted! Yay! He’s loving it, and wants to go next week, too.

Here he is yesterday after getting home, looking happy but tired.

The camera fairy came yesterday, and I was hanging out on the patio with The Pig snapping some pictures with it. He’s such a goofball, sweet and innocent one second.

Then the Real Pig makes an appearance.

My what big teeth you have! Impressive yawn, eh? He’s all about the napping, and does his best to make sure he gets his full 18 hours a day. Oh, the life!

Yes, I have been working on jewelry. Experimenting mostly. This piece features three pendants. Two were clay pieces, the largest one is a mother of pearl bead. I collaged some really pretty paper on to them, then sealed it with a gloss gel medium. Whaddaya think?

I’m going to list it in the shop later today, along with a couple more things I’ve made this week. Apparently I’m on a Copper kick!

EDIT: looks like there’s a bad pixel in the camera. Poo. Guess I need to make a trip to the Geek Heaven and swap it out!
